We met as social media managers helping businesses gain visibility through social media marketing. And of course, through our love of teeth (keep scrolling to read this story!).

We quickly recognized that our different skills complemented each other perfectly—we were a dream team. Together, we built a social media marketing powerhouse that got things done for our clients.

And from the outside? We looked like we had it figured out. We were working for ourselves, making consistent five figures, replacing full-time incomes while only working part-time hours. All the markers of "successful entrepreneurship."

But behind the scenes? We were exhausted. Working on projects and with clients who didn't align with our business goals and were draining the life out of us. We'd lost track of the purpose.

Our businesses weren't working for us anymore—they were working us over.

The Shift

We both hit our breaking points around the same time. And instead of trying another productivity system or marketing strategy, we asked harder questions:

Why are we attracting these clients?
What actually energizes us—and what are we forcing?
If we were starting over today, what would we build differently?

The answers were uncomfortable. They meant saying no to revenue that didn't serve us. Getting brutally honest about what we'd been pretending was fine.

But when we rebuilt from actual alignment—based on who we really are, not who we thought we needed to be—everything shifted.

Better clients. More energy. Less effort. Businesses that finally supported our lives instead of consuming them.

And we realized: This is what we're actually exceptional at. Helping people realign their businesses with who they actually are.

How We Got Here

Once we figured out our own alignment, we couldn't unsee it in everyone else. Talented professionals burnt out in businesses they once loved. Attracting wrong-fit clients. Successful but empty.

So we started Thrive Collective to help service providers with their marketing, websites, and content. And it worked. Our clients got results.

But we kept noticing: The most transformational results came when clients had strategic clarity about their business alignment first. Content resonated more from authentic alignment. Systems worked better when built for their actual working style.

So we made a choice. We stopped trying to be everything for everyone. We got intentional about what we're actually here to do.

The ThriveFlow Foundation Method is the culmination of everything we've learned—from our own transformations and from working with hundreds of professionals. It's a methodology for reconnecting your success with your purpose.

We're still offering strategic support, content guidance, and systems help. But now they're built on a foundation of alignment work. Because tactics without alignment just create prettier versions of the same problems.

So, we've got this mutual love of teeth - okay, not really. But what we did have in common was a passion for social media.
